We continue our look at WGLS-FM’s Executive Staff by checking in with our promotions department!
1. What is your favorite Favorite Rowan Radio memory?
GG: My favorite Rowan Radio memory would have to be around last Halloween when a bunch of us went to Creamy Acres.
2. Why did you get involved with Rowan Radio?
GG: I got involved with Rowan Radio because I’ve always had an interest in doing college radio. During my freshman year, I was also looking for ways to become more involved on campus.
3. What goals do you have for the upcoming school year?
GG: Maintaining my GPA, becoming more involved with some of the other clubs on campus that I’ve always wanted to join but have never had the time, and hopefully getting another internship in the spring. Obviously, I want to do a really good job as Promotions Director!
4. If you could change one event in world history, what would it be?
GG: The death of Michael Jackson, because I’ll never get over the fact that I’ll never get to see him live. That counts as world history, right?
5. What are your plans after Rowan?
GG: Ideally, I would love to move to a big city like New York or LA. Realistically, I’ll probably still be living at home sponging off my parents until they finally kick me out of the house. If this whole radio thing doesn’t work out, I’m dropping everything and becoming a flight attendant.
