Coming Up Tonight On Rowan Radio’s Public Affair Show!

Avant is a magazine of literature and art on Rowan University’s campus run by undergraduates. It is published once a semester and is funded by the Student Government Association. The magazine is filled with poetry, short fiction and art all submitted. An editorial board decides what makes it into the magazine each semester. A Community Affair – 12/3

Tonight’s edition of A Community Affair features Lindsey Giannini and Mike Kellenyi discussing the Don’t Text and Drive campaign with host and WGLS-FM Public Affairs Director Matt Kazin.

Giannini, who is Miss Atlantic County, spoke about what inspired her to start the campaign. In addition, Kellenyi, who works at Highway Safety Systems Inc., spoke about taking on Giannini’s project and how following the death of his daughter, it became his personal mission to help save lives by preventing distracted driving accidents.
