Rowan Radio documentary “Online Dating: There’s an App for That?” will be honored by the Alliance For Women In Media Foundation with a Gracies Award on Monday, June 22 in New York City.
The program, which centered on the rise of online dating’s popularity, received the nod in the Student Outstanding Special or Variety radio category.
Allie Volpe Wins Gracie Award For Work On Rowan Radio Documentary
The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation honored former Rowan Radio Operations Manager Allie Volpe with a prestigious Gracie Award on Wednesday for her work on “Heroin High,” a documentary about drug culture in South Jersey high schools.
Volpe, who co-produced the documentary with Joe Mineo and Robert Zettlemoyer, received the honor in the student division of the Gracie Awards’ Outstanding Special or Variety category.
